Frank Griffin Promoted to Southeastern Service Area Field Director in Circle Ten Council

We would like to congratulate Frank Griffin, Senior District Executive, on accepting the offer to become the Field Director of the Southeastern Service Area within our own Circle Ten Council.  Although Frank did seek out this promotion it is accepted with mixed feelings of sorrow for leaving the many bonds he has made with Scouters in Iron Horse District combined with excitement for the new adventures in Scouting that working with Duck Creek, East Trinity Trails, Texas Skies, and Trinity Woods Districts will afford. Frank has expressed a great thankfulness to all who work in Iron Horse at the district committee, district commissioners staff, unit leaders and parents of Scouts in the our district for making his job as a district executive a joy and a success. Frank’s last day as the Iron Horse Senior District Executive is on April 14, 2017. We wish him all the best as he does us.
