Frisco Municipal Court Scout Night

Frisco Municipal Court Scout Night

Wednesday, November 7, 2018 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm
@Frisco Municipal Court    Frisco, TX
Staff Lead:
Matthew Freeman

The Frisco Municipal Court is hosting a Scout Night on November 07, 2018.

Scouts from the Frisco area community are invited to join the Frisco Municipal Court from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Frisco Municipal Court, 6865 West Main Street, Frisco (parking and entrance are at the rear of the building).

The event includes a flag take down ceremony, tour of the Municipal Court, demonstration of metal detector, X-Ray Machine, and an informational presentation by the Court Bailiffs and Municipal Court Judges.

During the year the Municipal Court receives several requests for court visitations from local scouting groups. Consolidating all the needs of Scouts into a single event has proven a better experience for the Scouts.  Additionally, the Texas Legislature has declared the week of November 5-9, 2018 as Municipal Court Week. We want to invite Scouts to celebrate Texas Municipal Court Week with the Frisco Municipal Court.

Scout Night offers a more in-depth learning experience for the scouts, combined with a fun evening at the Municipal Court.

The event is open to scout groups and all other youth explorer and adventure groups.  This was a very popular event last year with over 50 Scouts attending.  We will be limiting the event to 60 Scouts due to the space restraints.

To register in advance and ask questions about the event, contact Matthew Freeman, Court Administrator at 972-292-5560, or by email at mfreeman@friscotexas.gov
